Okay Okay, so there was an office party tonight at work. Worst diet trap in the world...we're talking my devilled eggs (which are low in carbs so I'm not so threatened by those), my co workers mac and cheese (which was slammin by the way, I only had a little slab...I'm patting myself on the back!) spanish rice and beans, bbq chicken wings, popeyes chicken, nachos with cheese, swedish meatballs, sweet potato pie, yams, corn bread....carvel ice cream cake! Ughhhh! Now I didn't do so bad, my plate had a large helping of greens with small slices of the mac and cheese, a few meatballs, a chicken thigh, 2 bbq wings (I ate one, my eyes were bigger than my head), one devilled egg, and some salad, and I didn't clear the plate either....the worst was the ginormous slice of carvel ice cream cake that my co worker cut for me. I wanted to barf after all that food! But I walked around, did the rest of my work standing for a while and did my best to work it out. Oh yeah, I also had two cups of contraband non diet orange soda...sort of a weakness at these office parties. But all is not lost.
On the brighter side of things, I have been on track with all of my workouts, I missed a cardio today because I had to cook, but it was an extra session anyway, no biggie...maybe I will double up tomorrow. I did my strength training today and I'm wearing my pedometer again which causes me to be concious of my walking as opposed to driving everywhere and taking the ele......but I live in 3 inch heels and higher so bear with me.
I also read in Allure magazine...and I'm totally adopting this method....to put a dollar in a jar for every workout I do. Its a variation from what was actually printed but I figure I will put a dollar for days I go out to workout, to the gym or park....and 25 cents or 50 cents for at home workouts....and another dollar for a week of unflawed dieting. I'll have the money for those Vera Wang Jeans in no time! Well hope u guys are doing well. Talk soon.

I like the idea of putting money in a jar for all the workouts you do. I may have to try it.
