Spring is here

And with spring comes spring cleaning. I spent two hours this morning washing dishes - this after running the dishwasher twice. At least it worked my arms out some with all the scrubbing. I never before thought of cleaning as a way to lose weight, but it should help to tone my arms. I don't know about anyone else's housekeeping, but mine has been terrible lately because I've been so busy with work and classes. I snapped this morning and told work I'd be in late and spent three hours cleaning.

And then I bought some pretty tulips to put on my newly cleaned kitchen table :)

On a side note, when starting this blog I never thought that it would be so helpful and that there would be so many great comments. You are all helping me without me even really knowing you. So thank you!

I actually worked out a bit yesterday - both riding my bike and doing some strength training. I even ate pretty well. But the best part of all? I wanted ice cream and so I was able to eat a little bit without breaking the calorie bank. I used to think that losing weight required you to give up everything that tasted good - but it's so nice to still be able to eat ice cream.
